As part of my thinking and my work as an artist creating contemporary photography, I am primarily focused on social, environmental and ecological concerns that stem from a reflection of the relationship of man to his environment. This led me to create work that reflects the integration of both architectural and social settings. Erosion, the effect of time on matter, informs my approach.
At the confluence of form and content, my photographs reflect a diversity of interests. I am inspired by the rhythm of the heartbeat of the world around me. Instinctively, I look for the unusual, the unexpected, the ephemeral, organic, visceral, textures and colors that will become timeless with an unexpected dimension.
